Flight to Paris
Our trip to Paris went smoothly. British Airways did a good job. As you would expect the crew were polite and courteous. The planes were on time and we did not have any problems with the connections.
It made a difference that Suzy is a nember of the Qantas club (or whatever the right term is) because this gave us access to the BA lounge - a lot more comfortable than sitting in the transit lounge. When we got to London, we even had a shower (in separate showers unfortunately) which was quite refreshing.
The plane to London was a 747-400 and had screens in the back of the seat in front. The movie selection wasn't great but we watched a movie called Sahara.
A lot of people complain about airline food but I thought the food was OK. We were flying in darkness most of the time and so it was a bit hard to work out what meal we were eating - breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. The best part was that they served alcohol with almost every meal. So we had a mixed drink before the meal and a glass of wine with the meal.
I did not sleep very well on the first leg but Suzy gave me a sleeping pill on the Singapore-London leg. This seemed to do the trick.
